Dinner Party Miso


This delicious and colorful Dinner Party Miso, made with Kroma’s Veggie Broth with Plant Protein, is a perfect (and easy!) way to keep dinner guests feeling full throughout the evening. We’re sure it’ll leave your guests feeling nourished and impressed!



½ to 1 C King oyster and lion’s mane mushrooms (or your choice of mushrooms), chopped

2 tsp Tamari sauce

2 tsp Olive oil

1 C Bok choy, chopped

1 C Butternut squash, diced

½ tsp Ginger, finely minced

1 T Green onion 

4 C Purified water

2 T Kroma Veggie Broth

2 T Chickpea miso paste

1 T Dark miso paste

Black and white sesame seeds (optional)

Lemon juice (optional)



  1. In a small bowl add mushrooms, tamari sauce, and olive oil
  2. Massage mixture lightly with your hands and set aside
  3. In a medium pot, sauté butternut squash until lightly browned
  4. Add 4 cups of water, bring to a boil, then turn down heat to a low simmer
  5. Let cook for 15 minutes
  6. Add bok choy and turn off heat
  7. Add Kroma Veggie Broth, miso pastes, ginger, and stir
  8. Garnish with marinated mushrooms, green onion, sesame seeds (optional), and a squeeze of lemon juice (optional).
