Candace Nelson’s Fudgy Chocolate Cookies


Kroma’s friend and fellow superfood fanatic, Candace Nelson, is a food entrepreneur and accomplished pastry chef known for co-founding Sprinkles, the world’s first cupcake bakery. Today, we’re sharing her healthy chocolate fudge cookie recipe using our favorite guilt-less pleasure, our OMG Cookie Butter. Enjoy!



½ C Kroma OMG Cookie Butter

½ C Chocolate chips

6 T Coconut sugar

2 T Maple syrup

2 tsp Vanilla extract

1 Egg

¾ C Almond flour

¼ C Cocoa powder

1 tsp Baking soda

½ tsp Sea Salt


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Microwave Kroma OMG Cookie Butter and chocolate chips until combined
  3. Add coconut sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix until combined
  4. Add almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and sea salt. Mix until combined
  5. Scoop dough into 1oz balls and place on a baking sheet 2 inches apart
  6. Bake for 9-12 minutes at 350 degrees
  7. Cookies should be set on the edges and gooey in the middle
