Director of Content

We have scanned the world to find the most nutrient dense, high integrity, sustainably sourced superfood ingredients available. We are at the forefront of the wellness space, pioneering new approaches and moving with incredible speed. Now that we are officially launched, it’s time to grow Kroma into the wellness brand of the future. As Director of Content, you will oversee all things voice and visual, utilizing your unique lens and creative direction for web, email, social, branded collateral, brochures, ads and more. This role is remote, but flexibility for in-person meetings is appreciated. You are someone who is obsessed with brand, tone of voice and the power of expression. We want to create a unique voice to match our unique perspective and need someone who can both conceptualize and execute with speed.

 

Role + Responsibilities

  • Oversee all copy ideation, creation and execution across all Kroma entities
  • Oversee all visual direction (graphic, animation, film, print) across all Kroma entities
  • Own the personality of the brand and how it shows up in the world
  • Produce written materials in a variety of formats, including print collateral (press materials, brochures), social, ads, web and interactive content, speeches and other thought leadership pieces
  • Work closely with internal teams to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development, thereby contributing creative strategies
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy and visuals that connects with the desired audience and drives action
  • Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by company, or target audience at hand
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
  • Research and understand the Kroma’s target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
  • Stay on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and outside resources

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably working with health and wellness, beauty or fashion
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in conceptual writing in marketing or advertising, social, ad, product, brand messaging and promotional copy
  • Experience in a fast paced, startup like environment
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
